Lathe inserts have ISO coding rules, each character represents a different insert feature. Lathe inserts are used in precision lathes, horizontal lathes, and vertical lathes.

Lathe inserts TPGH1103 and TPMT1103, the cutting edge length is 11mm and the thickness of lathe insert is 3.18mm.
For steel turning, you can consider lathe inserts with DF333 grade and the chip breaker of this lathe insert is UW. Lathe inserts for cermet, BQJ606 grade will be recommended.
The machining of the UW chipbreaker for these lathe inserts is finish machining.
