Micro end mills are designed to mill the hardness of the workpiece below 55 HRC.

The helix angle of micro end mills is 35 degrees.

S-EMM is commonly used for angular plunge grinding, full slotting, and right-angle slotting.

The cutting flute diameters of micro end mills are ten decimal places, such as 0.2mm.

The diameter of the shank for S-EMM series micro end mills is 4mm. For square micro end mills S-EMML that has a longer neck with the short flute, the diameter shank is also 4mm. Ball nose micro end mill, S-EMB, the min R angle is 0.15.
