While doing slotting, the axial depth of cutting(ap) for the CNC end mill is equal to or less than half the diameter of cutting(DC). CNC end mill, the Radial depth of cutting(ae) is equal to the diameter of cutting.

CNC end mill for side milling, the ap is  1.5 multiple diameters of cutting. The ae is equal to or less than DC.

The helix angles of the CNC end mill are 42 degrees and 45 degrees. The coating of the CNC end mill is Altin. It can work on the hardness below 55HRC of the workpiece.
